Lori Guzzi, CEO, CCUE
(Certified Credit Union Executive class of 2016)
Lori was born and raised and still lives in Painesville Township. She is married and has 2 children and 3 beautiful Grandchildren. She started working at Painesville Credit Union in 1999 as a teller. She has held various positions throughout her tenure: Head Teller, Collections Manager, and Operations Manager. She became CEO in August 2015. Lori graduated from CUNA Management School in July 2016. She is also involved in the Fairport VFW, Toys for Tots, and Sub Zero Mission.
Lynne Kline, Chief Operating officer (COO), CCUE

Lynne was born and raised in Painesville, she now lives in Perry. She has 4 children and 2 beautiful Grandchildren. She started working with Painesville Credit Union in 1987 as a teller with other duties as needed, until her twins were born in 1993. She took 10 years off to stay home with her children and started back at Painesville Credit Union in 2003 as a loan officer. She is now the Operations Officer. She graduated from CUNA Management School in 2009. Lynne served as Council Secretary for her Parish, St. Cyprians, and is also involved with the Northeast Credit Union Outreach Alliance.
Ken Takacs, Board President
Ken has been a member of Painesville Credit Union since 1978 (37 years). He has served as a member of Board of Directors since 1985 (30 years), and has been Board President past 12 years. Currently retired, he worked as Captain with City of Painesville Fire Department for 32 years. Though Ken is “retired” from his day job he stays active with a variety of civic duties and volunteer roles. He has served as a Councilman for for the village of Madison for years. Additionally he has been a Madison, Ohio Fire and EMS district board of trustee's member and past president. Ken lives in Madison with his wife Anne and man's best friend, their dog Sam.
Dave Shook, Board Vice-President
Dave has been a member of Painesville Credit Union for many years and has served as a member of the Board of Directors since 1988. Dave retired from the Painesville Fire Department in 2010 after 27 years. Dave has been married for 31 years. He currently serves as Assistant Fire Chief for Grand River Village. Dave was the Team manager for the Riverside Hockey Club for 10 years, and he recently retired from driving the Zamboni Mentor Ice Arena.
Tim Murphy, Board Member
Tim has been a member of Painesville Credit Union for nearly his whole life. He has served on the Board of Directors for two terms. He have worked for the City of Painesville for the past 31 years and his family has lived in Painesville since 1861! His Great Uncle, P.J. Appleton was Painesville’s first Chief of Police. Tim enjoys walking and maintaining a Section of the Buckeye Trail. He has a son and a daughter.
Dottie Bentley, Board Member
Dottie has been a Painesville Credit Union member since 1970, thus she has double digit account number! She is serving in her second term as a Board member. Dottie left Painesville City Employment in 1983, and owned and operated Berbakos Landscaping and Tree Service until 1999. In 1999 she established Evergreen Farms, a horse boarding facility in Perry Ohio, where you can still find her today along with a couple six toed cats and wonderful dogs.
Michael Williams, Board Member
Michael Williams has been a lifelong Lake County resident and a resident of Painesville for 27 years. He’s a graduate of Harvey High School from the class of 2003 and has been employed with the Performance Tapes Division of Avery Dennison in Painesville for 13 years. He’s been a member of Painesville Credit Union for 17 years and feels the credit union has been very good to him. He feels the need to give back and volunteer and cannot think of a better place to volunteer! His family roots are set here in the city that he grew up in and loves. His family includes his lovely lady Amy, his son John, daughter Irene and cat and dog, Moochie and Poochie.
Rex Buchs, Board Member
Rex has been a member of the Painesville Credit Union for 27 years and he been serving as a member of the Board of Directors for three. Rex is recently retired after working for the City of Painesville for 31 years in Parking and Traffic. He has also worked with area police departments for 24 years. Rex is very active in several local and national organizations including having held all offices with the Sons of American Legion on a local, district and as State Commander. He is a member of the VFW and the Hungarian Culture Club. Rex is married to Diane and they have five wonderful children and at times a house full of eight grandkids.
